Willow 2017-01
2017I like to make light, open sculptures from the heavy material wood. I made this sculpture from the partly rotten wood of a pollard willow. I made the form further open, polishiing the inside and leaving gouge marks on the outside.

2011In the Mail ArtBook-project a small booklet made of wrapping paper is sent to all participating artists. They make it their own Artbooklet and send it back to me. There’s no theme, no timelimit, no choice of material. It’s all up to the creative minds of the creative artists! See www.projectmailartbooks.com/documents/projectmailartbooks_english.html. In y contribution I wanted to stay as close as possible to my own work. But how to put a wood sculpture into a booklet? This is the result!
